The lamp you see above is called a Venetian Art Craft vase lamp.. These lamps were made in solid or variegated colors. A good example of the variegated color can be seen on the 1244 blue vase lamp. The green lamp above shows the additional surface treatment that was given to the Venetian Art Craft lamps. It is refered to as a "straw like" finish and hence lamps with this treatment are often called straw lamps. It is beleived that the lamps with the straw finsih were made in 1932.
