1935 and 1936

The moonstone Majestic is an eye catching lamp that can draw attention in any setting. They were offered in green, rose, and white moonstone and although they appear quite grandeur, the finish on the metal base of these Aladdin lamps is quite fragile and easily worn. The green moonstone lamp on the left should actually have a "silver" base, while the others would be "rose gold'". Very few of these lamps can be found with the original finish intact. While sounding elegant, the "rose gold" and "silver" finishes were neither gold or silver. The "plating" on the base was actually an applied finish--paint if you will, that was to delicate to stand the test of time.
