The moonstone diamond quilt lamps get their name from the pattern on the oil font. It is made up of crisscross lines that bisect the glass into a series of raised diamonds. It would be hard to find a person that did not admire this group of lamps. As you will notice on several models of Aladdin lamps, the foot and oil font are made in separate pieces and then glued together with the use of a brass connector .
